SUNDAY SCHOOL Our catechetical program is charged with the task of educating our rich Orthodox faith to our children. The program ranges from Toddlers (ages 2 and 3) through high school. Classes are conducted September through May and are in session for 45 minutes from the conclusion of Holy Communion.

ACOLYTES These young men faithfully serve at the Holy Altar, adding to the solemnity of our liturgical life. Those who wish to serve in the Altar are encouraged to contact Father or the Altar Coordinator.

JOY This youth group serves to actively involve children, with their parents, up through age 11. The benefit for our youth is that this program provides an avenue where they may interact with one another outside of the usual Sunday schedule. These activities help teach our youngest members that church life is not limited to Sunday.

GOYA This teen youth group involves youngsters ages 12 through high school. Their involvement in G.O.Y.A. helps teach them the responsibilities of church membership, while providing an opportunity for them to regularly interact socially. Meetings are held monthly from September through May, with additional activities throughout the year. This teen youth group involves youngsters ages 12 through high school. NURSERY This service is made available to the parents and grandparents of infants (until they enter the Toddler class). Volunteers regularly serve in the Nursery, but parents are encouraged (and needed) to assist.

VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL This one-week program is conducted during the summer for the children grades K through 5. The "VCS" successfully offers a rare and worthy opportunity for our children to receive intense attention and instruction in the faith.

ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM ORATORICAL FESTIVAL The Oratorical Festival is conducted annually, with representatives continuing on to the District, Diocese and Archdiocese levels. This program offers an excellent opportunity for our children, grades 7 through 12, to express their views on the faith.

DANCE GROUP Classes for Greek dancing are available to our children on a regular basis. This program offers a wonderful opportunity for the children to expand their cultural foundation and learn traditional folk dancing. For further information, contact the dance director.
